I'm back!!

Finally I make a return to blogging!! Was on a hiatus for around 8-10 months, but finally here I am!

So much has happened these past few months, life was really like a roller-coaster ride, at times felt as though I'd collapse any moment, but Alhamdulillah no such damage done.

These 8 months saw the end of my High school studies and thus the completion of my Advanced level exams. Thank God I got through that the way I did, getting A grades in all my 3 subjects. Life was so very harsh then, I was in a state of complete shock. Can't describe what went on, but what did happen has changed the landscape for me, not sure whether it's for the better or worse. Still as practicing Muslims having faith in God Almighty, we stay strong, keep our faith on Him as powerful as before and move on.

What has given me joy though has been the gradual recovery of my mom, she has started acting much better, physically so much fitter. Love you mom, please be 100% soon, and make our lives wonderful again; me, Brishti (my little sis) and dad's really missing you so very much.

As of now, I am waiting for my admission decision from ETH Zurich (Swiss federal institute of technology)in response to my application to start my undergraduate course at this world renowned university, which produced one of the greatest scientists ever born, Albert Einstein!! Oh God, please let that decision by in my favor, Ameen.

Can't say how often I'll blog now, but won't be such a long delay as before. Till next time, so long everybody and may the Peace and Blessings of God Almighty be with you...

An eventful week!

Well I'm pretty late blogging this week, right? But still doing something is better than doing nothing!

As far as the week goes, I did all the daily things. Most importantly looking after my mother as much as I can, going on with my studies. Oh as far as studies goes, I am crazy about what's happened. I could hardly rest for 4 days before my Physics teacher called me and the other students up to say A2 classes were gonna start from Sunday (last week's Sunday). Oh well after classes started came home-works.

I resumed something I had stopped due to exams: earning on PTC sites. It's great to earn some money yourself. PTCs are great opportunities for that. For my favorite PTCs, visit my blog:
My PTC list

The week turned real sad with the death of Michael Jackson. I woke up that morning(in our country) as any other day and then turned on the TV to see the most sad breaking news of this year. The day went pretty sadly, I listened to and watched some of Michael's songs and music videos. He really was the "King of Pop". He really was lonely and struggled throughout his entire life!

Wimbledon got underway this week without the top seed Nadal. Most of the top seeds have made it through to the quarters, with my favorite player A-Rod still well alive and capable of winning!

That was my week in review. Hope I'll be quicker in updating next week! Until next week, so long!

Exams are over!!

Before talking about the past week and the start of this week, let me say that my exams are over! I arrived from exams 2 hours ago. It was a great final exam with the help of Allah(God Almighty)! Now I'm really gonna have some free time to rest!

Now about the past week. Well as expected I had a week of practicing Maths, C4. I completed one question paper at least 2 times this week. That drove me crazy and I mean absolutely crazy! However after a successful exam, the hard work was worth it! Praying to Allah so that I really do get good marks in all my units!!

My mom's immensely sick. She has been suffering from Enchephalitis for 5 months now! It has turned my always cheerful mom miserable. She cannot recognize things around her most of the times. I always pray to God so that my mom recovers soon and returns to her happy self!

Then comes tennis! Well I must say Andy Roddick was playing the best tennis of his life in Queen's this week. But destiny was just not on his side! Even after playing so well and looking the favorite to win a record 5th Queen's title, he had to go out with an ankle injury! He tried hard to continue but the ankle didn't help. Moreover he also has to be fully fit for Wimbledon. So if he can have a fantastic result there, this setback won't be so bad! So I chatted with Andy on Twitter and he said he's getting better. I hope he recovers fully before Wimbledon. Go Andy!!

That was my week! Until next week, so long everybody!!

Who I Am?

Hi there, everybody! I am Ashiquzzaman Akash from the small Asian country of Bangladesh. I am currently studying for my A-Level exams and thus am very busy. I am a 16 year old kid with high hopes. I am highly interested in tennis, table tennis, badminton, cricket, pool, football and golf. My favorite player in any sports is American tennis superstar, Andy Roddick.

Ever since completing my O-Levels and starting my A-Levels, life's been rather hectic with a whole lot of studying and much less time for playing cricket, which I used to play on a regular basis. As of this moment I have already taken 9 of my 10 A-Level unit exams this session. All of them have been taken quite successfully with the help of Allah (God Almighty). The remaining exam's on the 15th of June. So after that I would be much more free from studies, as this will by far be my longest exam session.

I was waiting for some time to start this blog. I am really excited to share my weekly occurrences with all of you. Check my blog weekly to find my latest activities. After the exams, I might even blog daily, if I become free, that is! Until next week, so long everybody!!
